DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

PURPOSE

In accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 GDPR (“Regulation”), personal data concerning identified or identifiable individuals collected following consultation of this website will be processed by AGENZIA REGIONALE PER LA PROMOZIONE TURISTICA IN
LIGURIA – as Data Controller – for the following purposes:
– Promoting the unified image of Liguria’s tourist offerings to facilitate their commercialisation and the implementation of special initiatives as provided for by L.R. 28/2006 and subsequent amendments.
– Collection for statistical purposes

LAWFULNESS OF PROCESSING

LEGAL BASIS

For the processing of the personal data indicated, the legal basis is:
Execution of tasks carried out in the public interest by the Agency as a public entity responsible for carrying out institutional activities to promote the unified image of Liguria’s tourist offerings and special promotional initiatives as provided for by L.R. 28/2006 and subsequent amendments, in accordance with Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR.

The impact on individuals who visit the website is minimal, as the temporary acquisition of the IP address allows identification of the individual only when combined with other information, with a very low probability.

TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

Personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols: navigation data, logs, IP addresses, or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the sites, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources.

NATURE OF PROVIDING DATA

The processing of personal data for the purposes described above will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 and Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

The data will be kept for a period necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, in accordance with the principle of data minimisation as per Article 5(1)(c) of the GDPR. The data will not be retained for longer than necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes, always respecting the principle of data minimisation as per Article 5(1)(c) of the GDPR.

METHODS OF PROCESSING

Personal data may be processed in both paper and electronic form (including portable devices), and will be handled with methods strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned above. The personal data collected are not subject to any fully automated decision-making process, including profiling.

RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

The personal data provided will be communicated to recipients who will process the data as Data Processors (Article 28 of EU Regulation 679/2016) and/or as authorised individuals acting under the authority of the Data Controller and Data Processors (Article 29 of EU Regulation 679/2016), for the purposes listed above.   • Personnel appointed by Agenzia in Liguria and the aforementioned Data Processors
  • Entities, Bodies, or Authorities to whom it is mandatory to communicate your personal data pursuant to legal provisions or orders from authorities.

TRANSFER OF DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY

Personal data will not be transferred to non-European countries.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS

The data subjects may exercise their rights as expressed in EU Regulation 679/2016 Articles 15 and onwards, by contacting the Data Controller or writing to the DPO/DPO.
The data subjects have the right, at any time, to request:
– access to their personal data, rectification of their personal data, opposition to the processing of their personal data
– erasure of their personal data under the conditions specified in Article 17(1) of EU Regulation 2016/679 and subject to the exceptions provided for in paragraph 3 of the same article
– restriction of the processing of their personal data under the conditions specified in Article 18(1) of EU Regulation 2016/679
– portability of their personal data under the conditions specified in Article 20(1) of EU Regulation 2016/679.

PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES

The data controller reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove any part of this Privacy Notice at any time, in order to align it with the GDPR and to comply with transparency obligations.
To facilitate the verification of any changes, the following will be indicated, if applicable: changes in the purposes of the processing, changes in the identity of the data controller, changes in how data subjects can exercise their rights related to the processing, the date of update, or the version of the Privacy Policy.
